Nellie was our first home-bred Brittany AKC show champion.  Nellie's first weekend out at the shows was a great one!  At 7 months of age she was awarded a total of 8 points (2 majors) towards her show championship in Tulsa, OK!  Her second weekend out at 8 months of age, she was awarded a 4-point major and Best in Sweepstakes at the Indian Nations Brittany Club supported entry show in Oklahoma City, OK.  Shown just 4 weekends and only in the Bred-By Exhibitor Class, Nellie completed her show championship at just 10 months of age!

Nellie began showing towards her AKC Grand Championship in May 2012.  Nellie was awarded Best of Opposite Sex at the Indian Nation Brittany Club's Specialty Show her first weekend out as a special.  Shown just 7 weekends, Nellie finished her GCH before her second birthday with 6 majors - two of them being specialty majors.  What makes this title extra special is all her points were breeder/owner handled. We are very proud of our girl!

Besides being a great show dog, Nellie excels at many other things.  After Nellie finished her show championship the end of August 2011,  she need another job to do.  She began training for rally obedience and by the middle of October 2011, she had earned her first rally title!  Nellie then went on to complete her Companion Dog (CD) title in 3 out of 4 attempts.  She even managed to garner a first place win along the way!

Nellie is also a good little bird dog.  Nellie earned her Junior Hunter (JH) title Spring 2012!  And Nellie is just beginning her agility career.  Nellie earned her Novice Agility Jumpers (NAJ) title and her first 2 Novice Agility legs Spring 2014!

In between all her activities, Nellie has taken off some time to have a litter of puppies.  She was bred to GCH DC Triumphant's Absolute On Ice and produced several nice pups - several of which are currently competing in the show ring now including our girl "Lolly".

Unfortunately, Nellie was lost too soon in a tragic accident.  She will forever be in our hearts.
